UPDATE: Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has initiated proceedings to revoke all broadcasting licenses held by Standard Group PLC.

The media house, accuses the government of attempting to silence it by revoking its broadcasting licenses following its critical coverage of President Rutoβs Kenya Kwanza administration.
Meanwhile, Former Standard Group employees will hold a protest today, 15th April 2025, 10AM outside the Standard Group Main Entrance, Mombasa Rd, Nairobi.
They demand unpaid redundancy dues, salary arrears, remitted statutory deductions, and SACCO savings.
