At just 18 years old, fresh from high school in 1993, Maina Kageni was already making KSh 43,000 monthly.

“My first salary in 1993 was KSh 43k, working for my uncle SK Macharia,” Maina shared during a quick chat where he also opened up about his early days, his dream car, and skipping university in the UK.
He also spoke about his mother, revealing how their once close relationship slowly went astray over time. Life happened, choices were made, and despite the love still being there, they no longer share the same connection they once had.
Maina has really lived the soft life before soft life became a thing.
