The limitations of the mind changes the way you view yourself. You can become so negative and fail to do a lot of things because of how you look at things from the spectrum of your eyes. When people have mental limitations, their view of themselves becomes negative and affects how they view others in relationship to them. Mental limitation can change a person from human to a grasshopper or worm.

Mental limitations are caused by many different factors. You need to know the specific cause of mental limitations in your life for you to deal with them. Here are some of the causes of mental limitations.

Negative words and mistreatment from childhood.

The way you were brought up can be a great cause of limitations. You could have been brought up verbally abused. No better words were spoken over your life. The negative words spoken have created a negative image and henceforth creating a mental limitation.

Past failures and mistakes.

You are not a failure just because you have gone through a lot of failures. Constant failures can create an image that affects your mental ability every time you want to do something. Repeated mistakes can also cause mental limitations. May the Lord deliver you from failures and mistakes.

Wrong associations

The kind of company you keep is very important. The people you associate with constantly can cause limitations. They will constantly tell you what cannot be done. The company of associates also creates an atmosphere of what is possible for you.

Demonic spirits working through people.

Demonic spirits can also be the cause of mental limitations. Until demons are dealt with, this kind of limitation continues to persist.

There is no cause that is impossible to overcome. All limitations can be broken with the person involved walking into total freedom.

Prayer and declaration

• Father God, I thank you for the knowledge I have received.
• I ask you to deliver me from every cause of the limitations of the mind.
• I destroy every cause of mental limitations in my life and family.
• Deliver me Lord from demonic limitations and heal me from the impact of negative words, failures and mistakes.
• I ask you to set me free from wrong associations in the Name of Jesus Christ.
