Amisi argues that the proposed arrangement bears no resemblance to previously successful political partnerships such as the Grand Coalition under President Mwai Kibaki or the post-handshake collaboration with former President Uhuru Kenyatta
According to Amisi, the lack of a legal backbone and clearly defined negotiation framework makes the current push highly risky for ODM, potentially exposing the party to internal fractures and long-term political instability.
The remarks come at a time when national debate on political inclusivity and power-sharing continues to intensify, with ODM leaders appearing divided on the best path forward.
