The Opposition Party “Union For Change” In Cameroon Has Declared Issa Tchiroma As winner In The Presidential Election

The opposition party “Union for Change” in Cameroon has declared Issa Tchiroma as winner of the October 12, 2025 Presidential Election. This will make him the 3rd president of Cameroon since independence. Here is their statement.

“The Cameroonian people have decided

The results coming in from all corners of the country as well as from abroad announce an unequivocal verdict: the People’s Consensus Candidate, Issa TCHIROMA BAKARY, is the winner of the presidential election of October 12, 2025, with a percentage ranging between 60 and 80% in several polling stations.

Despite the traditional frąud machine of the ruling State party, Issa TCHIROMA BAKARY inflįcted a crushįng defeat on the CPDM candidate.

We therefore call on the outgoing president to promptly extend his congratulations to the winner

We further ask the administrative authorities and the defense and securįty forces to respect the popular will.

The Union for Change 2025 calls on the Cameroonian people to remain mobilized to vigorously defend their victory and take charge of their destiny.
