The STAR Kenya Newspaper reports that Former PM Raila Odinga has been conspicuously absent from the public eye for almost two weeks.
The ODM leader’s absence is especially noticeable as the party prepares to mark its 20th anniversary.
Raila’s last notable public appearance was on Monday, September 22, at the Argyle Grand Hotel for a gathering of the ODM Parliamentary Group.
He has now missed important occasions, such as the awarding of nomination certificates to ODM candidates for the upcoming by-elections.
According to reports, medical professionals recommended he cut back on his political activities & relax abit from back to back activities.
However, his close allies, including National Assembly Minority Leader Junet Mohamed, refuted the reports.
