Another Kenyan Youngster Signed By Stoke City

17 year old Kenyan youngster Syd Agina has signed a professional contract with Championship side Stoke City to play as a defender in their Under 21 team. Syd joined the club’s youth system as an Under 9.

Agina, pictured alongside Academy Director Gareth Owen, came in as a second half sub last month in a Stoke City pre-season game against Liverpool.

Last season he featured in the Premier League 2 registering a goal and an assist in 8 appearances.

Syd hopes to one day get called up to play for Harambee Stars.

We wish him all the best.
