The family of slain Wells Fargo HR Manager Willis Ayieko has disclosed new information regarding the circumstances of his brutal murder following the identification of his body on Wednesday, October 23.
Ayieko’s brother who made the identification of the mutilated body dismissed robbery as a motive, stating that the deceased’s eyes, ears, and nose had been brutally cut, suggesting a possible vendetta.
He did not have most of his clothes.
“We went with my brothers to look for him. We wanted to see the last place where the vehicle was stopped. He was cut. Eyes were gorged out, ears were cut, nose was cut, the mouth was cut. Why die such a painful death?”
His car, a Ford Ranger, was found abandoned in Sabatia, Vihiga County.
CCTV footage shows two suspects abandoning the vehicle.
Authorities are currently seeking additional leads while Ayieko’s body has been taken to Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary for an autopsy.
