A young aspiring leader from Uganda has finally opened up about his long journey to political victory after suffering repeated election defeats. For years, he contested for a local leadership position but lost multiple times, often by small margins.According to him, the first loss was painful but motivating. He believed he simply needed to campaign harder.
However, after the second and third defeats, discouragement began setting in. Supporters slowly lost confidence, opponents mocked him publicly, and many advised him to step down from politics altogether.
He says despite organizing rallies, engaging voters, and presenting clear development plans, something always seemed to block his success at the final stage. The repeated failure damaged his reputation and strained his finances.
